Memory injection: A Piece of Nature that Never Existed.
Suppose that you hold within you, a very strong memory. Maybe it's of a park, one that is far away from where you live, from where your life has always been.
Imagine you are never going to see it again.
And imagine that each day you never see it again, the natural process of memory retrieval begins to warp the idea of that place; lest you treat the memory like an old cassette.
When does an idea become "old..?"
It's when that person attributes that fact.
"My old house."
Like diving into a waterlogged server room; my memories are clad with an unfamiliar familiar buzz; a piece of my past and static combined.
Now I sit here, imagining that place.
Quite easily I could trace my path, navigate it, find my way through it in every way, discover it, understand it.
But will I ever remember it again?
I blinked and remembered something, tall, wooden, sturdy.
It was somewhere in a bog of sorts; but in reality it was more like a marsh, no, that wouldn't describe it in full: it was flowery?
It seemed impossible to reach and so I did not; I just admired it from afar.
This must have been...6 years ago?
